Great price
I’ve been searching coast to coast for almost two years to find the right shop to replace my engine, and Perry was the one who finally delivered. Incredibly responsive, honest, and professional from start to finish. He got my Jeep back up and running like it just rolled fresh off the lot. If you’re looking for real quality and someone you can trust, Perry is it. Highly recommend. 💪💪
Services: Engine repair
First of all I would like to thank Mr. Perry for the best experience I’ve ever had dealing with any automotive shop! I have a 2015 Jeep wrangler Sahara that wouldn’t start and he broke everything down made me feel comfortable and he even offered financing if needed. The job was done in a timely fashion and the prices was reasonable due to all the damage that was done, I wouldn’t take my vehicle anywhere else! If you have any issues with your car I highly recommend giving him a call they even towed it into there shop the same day right after I called them 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love this place! My family and I were taking my daughter to College in Tennessee and on our way from S. Florida, her Jeep had a driveshaft issue. We pulled into the Jeep Dealership and they couldn't care less about our situation. I looked up repair places around me and God put this one in front of me. I pulled and they were great! The owner did a quick test drive, pulled it in the shop and had his tech get it up on a rack to verify the issue, 1 hour later, I was on my way with my daughter! They were fantastic and they were VERY reasonable on the price they charged me. More businesses need to operate like this place. Thank you again to the owner and your team at Signature Auto Repair!
Jeep engine concerns vary depending on the model, engine and maintenance history. Common issues we inspect include:
Pentastar Engine Ticking Some Jeep vehicles equipped with the 3.6L Pentastar V6 may develop ticking or tapping noises involving the valvetrain. Depending on the severity, continued wear may affect rocker arms, camshafts or related components. A ticking sound does not automatically mean the entire engine must be replaced. Proper diagnosis is needed to determine the extent of the damage.
Oil Leaks and Low Oil Levels Oil leaks may develop around engine seals, gaskets or the oil cooler and filter housing area on certain Jeep engines. Driving with insufficient oil can cause low oil pressure and serious internal engine damage.
Overheating and Coolant Loss Cooling-system leaks, water-pump concerns, radiator problems, thermostat issues or internal engine damage can cause repeated overheating. Severe overheating may damage cylinder heads, head gaskets and internal components.
Excessive Oil Consumption An engine that regularly runs low on oil can develop accelerated wear, compression loss, bearing damage or complete engine failure.
Engine Knock or Low Oil Pressure Loud knocking, low oil pressure or metal in the oil may indicate damage to bearings, pistons, connecting rods or other internal components.
Some symptoms may come from an external component rather than the complete engine. Proper testing helps prevent unnecessary replacement.
Engine repair may make sense when the damage is limited and the major internal parts remain serviceable.
Engine replacement may provide better value when:
The engine has seized
Multiple cylinders have low compression
Severe overheating caused extensive damage
Bearings, pistons or cylinder walls are damaged
The engine has persistent low oil pressure
Previous major repairs have failed
Repair costs are approaching replacement cost
The vehicle’s mileage, transmission condition, maintenance history and overall condition should also be considered.
For a well-maintained Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Cherokee or Gladiator, replacing the engine may cost less than purchasing another dependable vehicle and taking on a new monthly payment.
We inspect the Jeep, review the symptoms and confirm the extent and cause of the engine damage.
The correct replacement engine is verified using the VIN, model year and engine configuration.
We explain available engine options, estimated pricing, warranty coverage and expected completion time.
The failed engine is removed and the selected replacement engine is professionally installed.
Related components are inspected, and the Jeep is checked for:
Fluid leaks · Fault codes · Operating temperature · Oil pressure ·
Engine performance · General drivability
Any additional recommended repairs are discussed with the customer before work is performed.
The cost of replacing a Jeep engine depends on:
A Wrangler, Compass, Grand Cherokee and Gladiator may each use a different engine and require a different installation process.
